I know. I did this in the past and it wasn't without problems. Given
the trouble I already have I am not planning to seriously go 5 until
they start to send out GM seeds.

Anything you can reproduce? Does everything else in your SB system
work?
Can you give me remote access?
I've been running 7.6 for >6 months now and I haven't seen iPeng
crashes specific to this for a long time and can't reproduce anything I
hear about.
I've heard about some issues people had with the current iPeng when
their server wasn't working correctly but except for a communication
issue I didn't find anything significant that can cause a crash.

I won't try. I'm creating a new project for iPeng which will hopefully
reduce issues and then I plan to not let anything that even remotely
looks beta onto my work machine. I still don't even have Lion on that
one although that's due to a different reason (a business critical
software not yet being compatible).
