With version 7.6 it is now possible to put plugins in the My Apps menu. There is a preference on the settings page for BBCiPlayer which selects whether iPlayer is put in My Apps or the Internet Radio menu.
When I first introduced this, the default for 7.6 was for My Apps, based on feedback I changed this, but I suspect that if you installed the first version including this function then the default setting of My Apps may have stuck.
