7.6 crept up on me quite unexpectedly. I had been expecting it to come
in a month or two ("at the end of summer"). Anyway, I made the move,
using SQLite.
On my Windows 7 64 bit system , SB 7.6 takes 3 to 4 times longer to
scan my files from scratch. It used to take 12-14 minutes, and now
takes about 45. The Custom scan which follows is about the same at a
bit under 2 hours (whilst playing tracks).
I had been hoping that the Custom Scan would be quicker, and certainly
hadn't expected the standard scan to be so much slower.
Has anyone else had similar results with 7.6 and SQLite? Are the speed
improvements only for Linux systems? Is there anything I can do?
