Yes, it's too early for bug reports except for critical error that
makes it impossible to start it.

Do you mean when going to "Extras/Social Music Discovery" ?
If so, are you able to activate the Java console ? If you are on
Windows I think it's activated through a Java section in the Control
Panel.
The Java console will display any that causes it to not load the applet
properly.
As a side note, the "Extras/Social Music Discovery" isn't starting the
RCP client it's starting a simple applet which we experimented a bit
with initially. It contains a configuration screen and two different
discovery layouts we experimented with.
