It strikes me that we are going to need a "script" (or something) that can quickly and simply lookup and add MusicBrainz track ID's (and NOTHING ELSE) to every song in our libraries... or...
I've run AcoustID against my entire library, hoping that it would generate a URI which would be stored as a tag (like the PUID for GENPUID) that could be used as a path into the MB meta data... but I can't see exactly what has happened with AcoustID, other than it thanking me for sending it 40k track details... -- Phil Leigh You want to see the signal path BEFORE it gets onto a CD/vinyl...it ain't what you'd call minimal...
