Don't you get configuration options (a lot of checkboxes) for "Include
genres" and "Exclude genres" after you have selected the following in
the web interface ?
Extras/SQL Playlist/Create new playlist/Random albums playlist with
possibillity to include/exclude genres
The "Include genres" and "Exclude genres" options should be there
together with the other configuration options for this playlist type,
like "Playlist name", "Do not repeat tracks within same playlist",
"Ignore albums played recently", ...
If not, do you see any genres in My Music/Genres menu ?
If you don't that's the problem, because you need to put genre tags in
your music files and scan them into the database before they will be
available for selection.
