Thanks I already did that though. I managed to fix it. It seemed that it's not ok to extract the files to the squeezeplug over a samba share and change the owner/group afterwards. Instead I download the files directly on the plug using wget and extracted them with unzip. After changing the owner/group it works again. Great.
