Good to see I'm not the only one with scanner problems on 7.7.1. Just installed LMS on two My Book Live drives and am receiving the same error as nasalhair:
[11-12-20 10:29:52.3824] Slim::Control::Request::execute (1889) Error: While trying to run function coderef [Slim::Control::Commands::rescanCommand]: [Carp::Clan::__ANON__(): DBI Exception: DBD::SQLite::db do failed: disk I/O error [for Statement "DELETE FROM scanned_files WHERE url = 'file:///shares/Kurt' OR url LIKE 'file:///shares/Kurt/%'"] at /usr/share/perl5/Slim/Schema/Storage.pm line 126] If I go and change the media folder path temporarily (proper path = /shares/Kurt -> temp path = shares/Kurt) and then abort that scan immediately and change the path back to the proper path and scan again the scan will work. So, nasalhair, that's my workaround at this point. Nitpicker - I've tried both of your suggestions and neither seemed to have fixed the issue. Any other ideas?
