I nearly always use iPeng. However, there are two reasons I still need my controller. 1. To turn off the music when my iPhone rings (I can't access iPeng when the phone is ringing). IMO, this would be the most valuable enhancement you could make to iPeng (tho I don't know if it is even possible) as I would no longer need to ever use the controller. 2. However, my family would since they don't have (or carry) a smartphone all the time. It is nice to have a remote that stays by the stereo.
