If AAC is better quality than WMA, I'm now trying AAC > WMA settings to see if it still works. If I get problems, I'll deselect Transcoding to see if that helps. I can always go back to WMA only. FYI the PC is Dual Pentium D 2.8Ghz with 2Gb RAM & Win XP. Although a few years old, it's not a bad spec. LAN connection is via ethernet. I can't imagine a new PC would improve matters so it's probably a Squeezebox server setup issue. I used to enjoy the My Radio Station facility on Last FM until a year or so ago & when it stopped working suddenly. I never managed to get it fixed, so I have a track record of not understanding how SB software works. Thanks goodness for the forum!
