Sorry missed that - I just scanned the top part as most of your system
info was at the bottom of the post.
I think there are two separate problems.
1. I don't think messages like below are related to the BBC issues. I
think it could be some local network issue. I suggest restart router
and LMS and see if the message returns when playing any non BBC AAC
stream (e.g. last menu in SomaFM App provides access to AAC format of
streams)
Code:
--------------------
[12-03-27 09:47:28.5701] Slim::Networking::IO::Select::__ANON__ (147)
Error: Select task failed calling Slim::Web::HTTP::sendStreamingResponse:
illegal file descriptor or filehandle (either no attached file descriptor or
illegal value): at
/<C:\PROGRA~1\SQUEEZ~1\server\SqueezeSvr.exe>Slim/Networking/IO/Select.pm line
150.
; fh=Slim::Web::HTTP::ClientConn=GLOB(0xa935a64)
--------------------
2. For non UK user the BBC has problem with "on demand" WMA streams.
For me all stations fail but some users claim success with station such
as Radio 1. Using "on Demand" "AAC->FlacAAC->WMA" should avoid this
problem as long as "Allow transcoding" is checked and you clicked
"Apply" and that AAC transcoding is working on your. There is no point
using the "Flash/MP3" options as this format is not available to non UK
users. I suggest you testing that AAC transcoding is working on your
system by
A. Try playing the AAC stream such as
http://www.somafm.com/illstreet32.pls
B. Set BBC Plugin "Live" to "AAC->FlashAAC->WMA" and then play a BBC
live station and check that on WebUI that format is AAC.
