Same problem for me. 3rd party plugin was installed, after restarting the squeezebox plugin "update available to 2.2.4". Server has to be restarted again, and it repeats "update available". There is currently no working spotify plugin in my queezebox duet. I found out, that the link in triade's repository list for 3rd party spotify plugin seems to be dead.
