I have both a squeezebox radio and a squeezebox classic. I have just tried to install the app (v2.2.5) today and I see the same results as above (on both).
I am hosting the server (v7.7.2) on a Ubuntu 12.04 machine, 64 bit. I cant see any problems on my LAN that would cause this problem (both the squeezeboxes are happy to play a FLAC file stored on the server), and I have just copied a file from the server to my laptop (same wireless LAN) at a rate of 1.5 MB/sec, which as I understand it, should be plenty fast enough to allow a FLAC file to stream.
