I thought that may be a possibility also, but the sequence wasn't
skipping any days before the weather.com changes.  Also, when I tried
the original clock style mine is based on, the problem is the same - a
day is missing.

This morning (Thursday) the sequence now looks like this:
ToDay (again, this is only an aesthetic issue)
TONIGHT
TOMORROW
Sun May 20
Mon May 21
Tue May 22

So in this case, Saturday is missing.
