When you click the single "48kbps AAA" stream offered there isn't any noticeable point where it actually tunes into that stream, just a short pause while it finds a stream to settle on (presumably performing the geoIP check you've mentioned along the way) and then the 128kbps WMA stream appears in the right hand LMS playlist screen.
