I'm running LMS on a headless, Ubuntu-based server; it does not have a sound card. I followed the instructions here: http://confoundedtech.blogspot.ca/2012/08/airplay-to-squeezebox-touch-via-linux.html, to try to get "Airplay" (Shairport) working through LMS. Looking at PulseAudio, I believe it is a Linux sound-utility--if that's the case then I'm using ecasound instead.
