Hi there. 6 months after I first posted my problem with the 'now
playing' album art not displaying when using iPeng I seem to have
resolved it. I don't know why it's resolved mind you, but I have the
album art back again so I thought I'd post what I did in case anyone
else has similar problems in the future.

I have my music files stored on an 2 Tb external drive on the computer,
and so I had been directing the server to scan the music folder on the
external drive and add to the library from there. That external drive is
nearly full now and I wondered if maybe the amount of files and/or the
lack of free space on the drive was causing some kind of problem for
iPeng and/or LMS when it came to scanning. I don't know if that is or
was the case, but what I did tonight was create a new folder on my main
internal hard drive and then add only shortcuts to the external drive's
music folders within it. I performed a cache cleanup and redirected the
server to scan the new folder that contains only shortcuts (no actual
music files in the folder to be scanned) and hey presto, album art is
now back in all its glory.

I hope some or all of that explanation makes sense, but whatever the
technical reasons for it I am very happy to have the art back.

Thanks again for your attempts to resolve the problem for me when I
originally posted about it.
