A better option would be to create some kind of export file which can be used by a tagging software, the closest candidate I've found so far is puddletag but its issue is that it's a bit complex for people to install unless you are in in a Linux environment and used to install software from the command line.
Do you know some tagging software which can take an easily interpreted file format as input and write the information to the tags ?
