Remember that simply changing tags does not reset the file's time and
date stamp so a rescan by SBS/LMS will not pick up the changes. What I
always do to ensure that the changes are scanned is rename the file and
then change the name back so that the time and date stamp is changed. I
don't know if there is way to make Mp3tag change the time stamp whenever
a tag is changed. I did a quick Google search and here is something I
found that you can try:

PS - I tried this and doesn't seem to work, i.e. change the time stamp,
but I know that my renaming trick does work. What I do use Mp3tag to
rename the file(s) using a "tag-filename" format string and then change
the file name back using a different "tag-filename" format string.
