EchoNest makes some interesting mixes, but there have been quite a few "What was it thinking picking that track next?" moments.

Still - MusicIP has always been temperamental for me and certainly wasn't getting any enhancements. Any idea if the plugin will work with the FreeBSD version? I keep my music on a FreeNAS server and have wanted to move SqueezeServer there as well, but the inability to run MusicIP in FreeBSD has stymied this. (I guess the best way to find out is to just try it).
Yes, one of the huge advantages of this plugin over MIP is that it's a pure perl implementation. It should run on any platform that runs LMS.
