He, he - you're making things "academic" - It's like saying; "If you
enter McDonald's just to descover that you've forgotten your wallet at
home, what do you do?" Well, you turn back home to correct your mistake.

If the ALBUMARTIST tag is left blank, it's because I want it blank or
made a mistake. A properly designed application should not deliberatley
attempt to override or correct user mistakes "secretly", but may well
suggest a corrective action and let the user decide. How Muso should
treat a blank field in a sorting context would be to put it either at
the end or at the beginning - if the ALBUMARTIST were the sorting key.
Just like an empty cell in a sorted spreadsheet column.
My issue is that I fail to locate albums that I know is in there
somewhere. I'd like to turn this around; Why should you want to
suppress one of the primary tag fields defined? I'm not saying that your
selection of tag fields made available for sorting in Muso, and your
default interpretation of how you think things should be sorted, are
wrong. I'm just asking; Can you allow us full freedom to choose wether
to use your method of sorting, or the one we've grown custom to use
after years and years with most other music DB apps around.
I do not rule out the possibility that I may grow to enjoy your new
perspective of sorting, but I'd like to be able to choose that myself.
And since I'm not essentially asking you add anything new and fancy
invented by me, but simple requesting that you refrain from suppressing
what's been around for years, namely the ALBUMARTIST field.
The size issue is of little interest to me, so I will not argue that
:-)

P.S. if you tell me "No" - ALBUMARTIST stays out -I will accept my
defeat.... You rule.
