I'm still confused with your confusion! I think all the music apps have the same concept of "titled artist", without actually giving it that name. I think it's standard that the Album Artist tag is given priority, but if this is not specified then the Artist tag is used. Take this album for example: 14263 It has the Artist tag filled in by Album Artist blank. LMS does as I have stated and uses the Artist tag to attribute to the album since Album Artist is blank - these are screenshots by Album and by Artist: 1426114262 It doesn't file this album under <No Album Artist>, and I would say iTunes, Windows Media Player, etc would all do the same thing and file it under the combination of Album Artist and Artist. Now I COULD add a hierarchy option of "by Album Artist" to Muso (so you would see this album under <No Album Artist> or some other configured value), but this I think would then be doing something DIFFERENT to LMS and other music apps - I think this might even confuse matters more! Or have I missed something? +-------------------------------------------------------------------+ |Filename: tags.JPG | |Download: http://forums.slimdevices.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=14263| +-------------------------------------------------------------------+ ------------------------------------------------------------------------ jezbo's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=9888 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=91575 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
