It depends on where you purchased it (in iPeng for iPad or iPeng for
iPhone). I'd say don't do it...

I suspect you did purchase the playback feature in iPeng for iPhone
which is why you can't store it directly to the iPad.

There are two things you can do:
1. Enable iCloud's "Documents & Data" sharing using the same iTunes
account on all devices, start iPeng on the old device and then also on
iPad. Sync can take a few minutes but other than that it should be
automatic.
2. Install iPeng for iPhone on the iPad (it's free as long as you make
sure you use the same iTunes account as for the original iPeng for
iPhone purchase) and restore the playback feature the. It will then also
work in the iPad app.
