Thanks Michael, I'll seek and try squeezeplay. the keypad can be made to work with numlock off, as cursor/page up & down. I think its 16 keys would be suffisent for browsing playlist and controlling volume, but so far no software I tried give me this possibility: everyone uses mouse for everything. Worst case scenario I could remap keys or something, as long as I find a software that does the trick for me.
