Works very well for me (version 1.2-311 on linux). Latest seems to be
1.3.393 on 'sourceforge.net'

You might want to look at InputToActionMap.lua ( on my setup, located in
squeezeplay/share/jive/jive/). There are two entries
(charActionMappings.press and keyActionMappings.press) defining the
key->action mapping.
