At $60 it is not cheap, but extremely powerful and configurable. It can detect file changes in real time and copy them over and it can do scheduled syncs (which is how I use it). When you overwrite or delete a file it can archive the old version so you can go back to an earlier version when you screw up. The main advantage is bi-directional synch which means you can make changes on either drive and it will synch the two. It can do all sorts of types of backup too.
As well a synching various folders between PC and NAS I also use it for synching my laptop between work network and home. I would not bother with the reduced price version of the program as there is plenty of other freeware out there that will do 90% of the job. Sorry I cannot make any more suggestions as I have not really used anything else. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ TheLastMan's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=16021 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=98161 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
