The server recognises players by the Ethernet MAC address - this is the Ethernet address of your PC and hence they will both appear as the same thing to the server (and if you run both at once then it will all go horribly wrong as LMS can't cope with two players claiming to be the same thing. What you can do is set a different MAC address for squeezelite with the -m option.
