Oh God, I found the error :-) - and it was probably my own fault :-/ I had changed the network setup so the NAS had a static IP on the LAN (which I could forward port 9000 and 9005 to). However there was some weird addresses for domain servers in the DNS setup on the NAS. Probably some default ones I had forgot to set/change when switching from DHCP to static IP. I'm a little embarrassed... Triode, thanks so much for having a look at my problem.
