My problem seems to have resolved itself overnight. I can now stream from Spotify without issue. Have confirmed wit ha couple of box and LMS restarts that the automatic login to Spotify now works. (Dare not attempt a password reset for fear of a repeat of the problem!). Beats me why but for now I'm just happy that it works.
