As a long-time Squeezebox user but first-time Spotify user, I thought I'd give this plugin a try. I created a username/password account on Spotify, and then signed up for the 30-day Premium trial. As far as I can tell, this has all gone through correctly and the Spotify website now considers me a Premium customer.
I disabled the Official Spotify Plugin in LMS and installed the Triode plugin. This seems to have been successful, as I can access the plugin's setting screen. I add my username and password, and clicked Apply. I've also restarted LMS just for good measure.
