FYI: Initial scan of artist pictures took about 3 hours, 45 minutes.
Now I understand the desire to store the pictures permanently. :-)
When I then did another "scan for updates and changes" it was shorter (1hr20min):
Some of the data is already cached (but not forever - enjoy while it lasts!). But I guess you have quite a few artists for which no image was found?
