Afaik there is no LMS plugin designed to do this specifically. It may be possible to trick Erland's Custom Browse, SQLPlaylist, or Dynamic Playlist plugins to do this, but it would take some tweaking.
How many albums do you want in your pick list? Either as an absolute number or as a percentage of your collection?
