This is not an iPeng problem but maybe some of you have a suggestion... We recently got a second DSL line installed with its own wifi network. We needed the additional bandwidth because our connection is so slow and is often flooded with large downloads... it was not just a matter of wifi range. The second connection covers the front of the house and some outbuildings and my husband mostly uses that connection for his mobile devices, while our desktop computers, the Squeezeboxes, and my mobiles use the main connection. I know I need to be on the original wifi network to control the Squeezeboxes, but every time I leave the house and come home, my phone connects to the second connection since it sees it first. So I end up opening iPeng and fiddling with it wondering why it isn't working for several minutes before I realize I'm on the wrong Wifi and manually have to switch.
I don't want to forget the network entirely because that will be a hassle when I do need to use it, but is there any way to make my iPhone and iPad switch to the preferred network when both are in range? Even after it already connected to the less preferred network?
