Redesigned UI in iOS 7 style. fully configurable main menu, dark mode,
artist artwork view (with MusicArtistInformation plugin), universal App.
Player management (sync, move) is completely new.
Also, the iPad main screen is really completely redesigned with the
resizable main screen, permanently pinnable playlist view in landscape
mode, fully editable playlist on the screen saver.

And many details like being able to love a track directly to Last.fm,
native sharing to twitter, facebook, mail, ...

Where did you find that?
It's not a "completely new Version", it's still a remote control for
Squeezeboxes, not a photo App or something.

The announcement points out that it's a new App which means you have to
pay for it and don't get a free update.
As you know, there is no update pricing on the App Store and after over
5 years and 51 free updates we had to sell this one again. Let's face
it: there are no new customers so if we want to justify all the work
going into it (over 400 new graphics, alone), we had to charge for it.
