No, please read my comments on the announcement thread. iPeng caches
_all_ artwork on the device and fills up all the available RAM with
artwork cache, there is nothing more you can cache.

It's a scheduling problem with the iOS 7 runtime. The choice is between
choppy scrolling (like it sometimes happened in 7.0) and low-priority
artwork loading like iPeng uses it now.
Loading artwork from the flash cache on the iPad gets in the way of
scrolling and other UI tasks in iOS 7, sometimes it didn't do under iOS
6 and not even when using the iOS 6 runtime under iOS 7.

There are some optimizations that are being suggested for artwork
caching, like using uncompressed, memory-mapped image files but that
won't work with iPeng since even an average library would easily consume
1GB of flash only for the cache which isn't acceptable. If you have more
then 6,000 albums it would no longer work at all.

I'll play around some more with the priorities, the current version is a
bit conservative WRT artwork handling because I wanted to make sure
scrolling performance would definitely be acceptable (it still isn't on
iPhone 4 but that's a problem I share with even Apple's Apps like the
App Store) so loading is at background priority making it pretty slow.
But to have a full fix Apple would have to change the UI priorities in
the runtime again. I hope they'll do something with iOS 7.1 but haven't
really tried the betas, yet.
