@jimbobvfr400: Yeah this is for a local college FM station. They do have an online stream but the audio quality is terrible and sometimes the stream is dead, so I wanted to use the FM tuner instead. The online stream comes in the form of FLV so it's kind of a weird setup, they are using a video streaming container format but only using the audio. I was using mplayer to decode just the audio portion initially
@bpa: The HW I'm using is an ADS RDX-155-EF Instant FM usb tuner. I don't think it is SDR (software defined radio?) It seems to do everything in hardware.
