Since I have installed MusicIP and Spicefly SugarCube, the situation that a playlist is approaching its end should only occur when I have a playlist of Wimp or QoBuz titles only. However, when I hear an album via Wimp or QoBuz, the playlist terminates at the end of the album, without that any further tracks are added by the Smart Mix Plugin.
What if you disabled Sugarcube? There's some interaction between the two, as both of them offer this similar feature of automatically adding tracks when the playback would otherwise stop.
Or does the plugin add tracks only with respect to playlists which have been generated originally by the plugin itself?
No. The whole idea of that feature is to play eg. an album you like and let the plugin continue from there. I do this using online music service on a regular basis.
