no. that's really the only two viable options. (note, if one wants too, I suppose one can install the WAVINPUT plugin in LMS, go on to the PC running LMS, open spotify app (the pc app, not LMS) and then start it playing, then have the LMS wavinput plugin take that spotify input and stream that to a Squeezebox player. But this would be a very clunky way to do this even if it works and I've never had much luck with the wavinput plugin.
