My Dvorak problem has changed now. Tags: ARTIST: Antonín Dvořák ARTISTSORT: Dvorak, Antonín (NOTE: this is without special chars but I don't think it is actually necessary)
The artist picture located in one of the Dvorak albums folder as artist.jpg. The picture is displayed correctly even after few clearing and rescanning. So everything is ok except I really don't understand what has changed. Why it is working suddenly. Here are the steps which I did before it started to work correctly: I tried to use artist.jpg file but it was totally ignored: 1. I removed Antonín Dvořák.jpg from my artist picture folder 2. I placed artist.jpg file into one of the (Dvoraks) album folder 3. I executed clear and rescan --> new Antonín Dvořák.jpg file was downloaded and placed into artist picture folder Then I changed the tags so that ř was replaced by r (ARTIST: Antonín Dvorák). After clear and rescan it worked. Even after I re-executed clear and rescan. And it was also using artist.jpg as picture now. Then I replaced ř back to artist tag (ARTIST: Antonín Dvořák) and it was still working and it has worked after that even after I have re-executed clear and rescan many times. Is there some kind of caching/buffering which is not cleared when clear and rescanning? I am using vortexbox 2.3 with LMS 7.9 (Logitech Media Server Version: 7.9.0 - 1409731561 @ Wed 3 Sep 13:36:18 BST 2014) PS. There are something wrong with the server log. I haven't yet tested it much, but most of the times when I do clear and rescan the system does not write single line to server.log.
