You mean audio? iPad and iPhone 5 (and newer) can output up to 92 kHz, 24 bit when connected to an external USB DAC with these capabilities. Older devices can output up to 48 KHz, 24 Bit and AirPlay is always 48 KHz, 16 Bit but at 100% resolution (the volume information is transmitted separately so you don't lose resolution when turning down the volume like you do on the Squeezebox or traditional digital audio links).
