I've tested the app. The SB player main screen shows up. If you let it sit there (you can control the time in the Fire TV), the default fire tv screensaver shows up-- a bunch of pretty pictures. You can download your own photos from the amazon cloud if you want. If you turn the TV off, iPeng goes into pause mode and the music stops, but you can hit play in iPeng (with the TV off) and it starts to play again & continues indefinitely. There's no onscreen "Now playing" feature.
