Spotify is a third party plugin you install from within LMS or and official app you can install on mysqueezebox.com . It's this way because the old players before Radio and Touch (SqueezePlay) can not do Spotify . Hence why Triode designed a plugin for your local LMS server based on libspotify . In that case nothing is really installed on the player itself its all on the server . If one goes with the official app a small part is installed (the app) on your player (Touch or Radio ) but most of it is handled by Mysqueezebox.com . I cant program myself out of paper bag :) so someone ales may advice if its possible to trigger plugin or app install via some command . Have you installed LMS itself to see how it works .
