Hi, I am happy to announce the release of Soundicity 8.1, a Squeezebox controller app for Windows Phone 8.1. The main features are:
* Auto-detection of Squeezebox servers on the network * Browsing music, apps, alarms, playlists etc. * Media library management * Download local tracks to your phone * Artist biographies from Wikipedia * Song lyrics either from embedded source or LyricWikia * Wake-On-LAN * Player/Playlists live tiles This is a separate app from my existing Soundicity app since it features a different user interface and has been rewritten from scratch for Windows Phone 8.1 and hopefully quite soon Windows 8.1. The app is free to try and there are no restrictions other than a time limit (currently 5 days).
