Hi, I have just published a new version (1.1.0.34) which should be available in store by now. This version allows you to add custom tiles to the app start screen - so whether this is an app, an album, the artists or the alarm folder or a spotify menu item - it does not really matter. You can hold any menu item and pin it to the bottom of the start screen.
Some menu item can be pinned in two varieties: as a playable item as well as as a menu shortcut. So, an album, e.g., can either be played or browsed. I am aware that this may not be a suitable solution for menu items that are defined by their position in the menu (which may change after a rescan), but for most menu items this is a nice way to create a random list of favorites of the app's start screen. These tiles can be rearranged and of course be deleted. Please, update and let me know if it works for you.
