SB Player for iPad is a Logitech app for controlling a SB device. I can
stream Tidal from my SB Transporter either using the native web
interface to the LMS or using the SB Player on my iPad.

I have a whole house automation system from Savant that I use for
audio/video, HVAC, lighting, etc. This control app can also control the
SB Transporter. It also has no issue seeing my NAS library or streaming
Qobuz. Tidal shows up as a service under ickstream but it doesn't work.
I suspect this is a programming issue with the Savant, and therefore,
not relevant to this thread. I just used Savant as an example of another
app on the iPad that can control the SB Transporter so that you know it
works with something other than the native Logitech app.

My LMS server is V 7.7.1 running on a Mac Mini OS X V10.8.5 and it
accesses a music library that is stored on a ReadyNAS. I have two
players, my main one is a SB Transporter running firmware 87 and I have
a bedroom that uses a SB Radio running V7.7.2. The Transporter is
controlled normally by the Savant app. However, Savant doesn't have the
full functionality of iPeng, so I use iPeng as a secondary controller
for the Transporter. I also have the SB Player I mentioned earlier but I
don't use it very often. The SB radio we just control from its built in
touchscreen.

I can do everything (My Music, Apps, Favorites, Internet radio, etc) on
my Transporter including Tidal and Qobuz streaming via either the SB
Player or the LMS web interface. With iPeng, it will eventually show
both my SB devices (Transporter and Radio) but it takes a little while
to find them. Once I select the Transporter, the menus all work but if I
select any menu item such as Genre, Album, or Artist, I just get a
spinning wheel and the word Loading. The same thing if I try to stream
Tidal or Qobuz. They show in the ickstream submenu but when I click on
either on, I get the spinning wheel and the word Loading.
