Dave, I have, in the past, had this message, but can't rember a specific fix. Sometimes just waiting a period of time has resolved the issue. Can you connect to Spotify via Mysqbox.com? Maybe stop and restart the router (it could be a DNS thing, whatever that is!) If you can clear the log for the helper app and try again and post the log info perhaps someone who knows may come along.
