OK thanks. Even if a solution is forthcoming, I suspect it'll be clunkier than the original Triode plug-in which could be used via MSB. This whole debacle is making me wonder if it'll be easier to buy another system that is compatible with HLS/DASH streaming protocols. Right now an iPod Touch hooked up to the hi-fi via a decent DAC is looking quite attractive. At least it can handle all the HTML- and flash-based streams. Another thought occurs too - couldn't a network streamer be designed with VLC as it's core media player engine? VLC seems to be able to cope with anything that's thrown at it, and it is open-source is it not?
