I am also seeing multiple ffmpeg processes as they are not being
shutdown when finishing listening to the stream.  

I have a conventional desktop pc with intel i3 processor, other details
are:

xubuntu 12.04.5 : Linux antec300.home.org 3.2.0-76-generic #111-Ubuntu
SMP Tue Jan 13 22:16:09 UTC 2015 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

LMS is Logitech Media Server Version: 7.9.0 - 1423154751 @ Sat Feb 7
04:05:17 UTC 2015

ffmpeg version 0.8.16-4:0.8.16-0ubuntu0.12.04.1, Copyright (c) 2000-2014
the Libav developers built on Sep 16 2014 18:33:49 with gcc 4.6.3
