While I don't have a Squeezebox I want to thank you all for sharing the stream links we need to spread the joy of BBC Radio around the world.
Does anyone know if non-uk streams work in the UK as well? I run a news/talk/spoken word radio Android app - 1radionews.com - and I've justed added for testing BBC Radio 4, BBC London, and BBC World Service streams to the free version of my app: bit.ly/1radioapps I've marked them AK and LLNW and VLow and Low for the non-UK folks. I am testing them to see which play the fastest and are the most consistent. As this is a mostly mobile app and I try to just offer one simple stream per station at the lowest possible bandwidth. If you want to test various streams quickly for at least the next couple weeks, just swipe from the right until you get the green test stream icons. Also, if you can get any of these supposedly more adaptive streams to play on 3G, let me know. BTW, stations like Radio Scotland and BBC London are not carrying sports programming right now while on the yet to be turned off MMS streams for those stations, you can hear the football programming. I am guessing with better enclaving of UK listeners, the BBC will find it easier to block restricted liscense programming they I assume looked the other way on for years. Thanks. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ netclift's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=64051 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=53229 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
