Sorry to be so incompetent, thanks for your patience. I just tried this http://a.files.bbci.co.uk/media/live/manifesto/audio/simulcast/hls/uk/sbr_high/ak/bbc_radio_three.m3u8 with Tunein and got a "Connecting..." and then the SB Classic's display returned to "Now Playing". The LMS UI showed the stream playing for 6 seconds and then timed out with "http://a.files.bbci.co.uk/media/live/manifesto/audio/simulcast/hls/uk/sbr_high/ak/bbc_radio_three.m3u8 0, HLS Radio" - there was no audio to be heard.
